DODA, Feb 28: Doda Faridia Fighters and Chenab Cricket Club defeated their rivals in the 1st T-10 Cricket Warrior Cup to win title trophies in Under-14 and Under-17 categories respectively. First final of the day was played in Under-14 category between Green Gladiators and Faridia Fighters. Green Gladiators won the toss and elected to bat first. Green Gladiators captain Tushar and vice-captain Vishal scored 23 and 12 runs respectively and helped their team to set target of 67 runs in 10 overs. Momin took one wicket.
In reply, Faridia Fighters chased the target on the last ball of the match.
In Under-17 final, Chenab Cricket Club defeated Doda Stunners. Chenab Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Zeeshan captain of the Chenab Cricket Club scored 54 runs and helped his team to set target of 117 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 10 overs.
In reply, Doda Stunners could manage to score 106 for the loss of 6 wickets.
Tehsildar Doda, Mr Nasir was the chief guest who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
