REASI, Jan 17: Two pet animals one mule and a calf of a buffalo were electrocuted in the lightning that shook the village Garri Gabbar under the jurisdiction of Police Station Arnas in Reasi district early this morning.
According to reports one person Kallu son of Chatru also fell unconscious as lightning struck his house after killing the two animals belonging to Manison Sabhu and damaging his cattle shed.
Reports said the walls of the houses of Mansion Sabhu and Chaturu were completely damaged by the impact of lightning which also damaged the entire electric wiring of the twin houses.
Soon after the incident a team from Police Station led by SHO Arnas visited the area to assess the damage. However no loss to human lives was reported from the area.
