JAMMU, Nov 23: Two days District Jammu Wushu Championship, organised by District Wushu Association, commenced at Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
About 250 players from different Schools/Clubs are participating in the championship.
The championship was inaugurated by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Ashok Singh. In his speech, he congratulated the Association for organising the district level event in a grand manner. He applauded the coaches and all the participating players for their sports spirit and asked them to maintain this spirit in their entire life.
He also congratulated the Association for their efforts for making the Wushu sports more popular and result oriented.
District secretary, Kamal Kishore: organising secretary, Ajay Paul Gill and other officials including Ashi Jamwal, Abhishek Singh, Ankit Raina, Satish and Vikas were present during the event.
