KATHUA, Aug 27: The 2- Day District Level Science Exhibition organised by District Institute of Education & Training( DIET) under Inspire Award Scheme concluded here today at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Kathua.
Joint Director Trainings and Principal State Institute of Education Jammu, H.R Pakhroo was the chief guest on the occasion.
Principal DIET Lok Nath Bhatt, Vice Principal Ajay Gupta, H.o.D DIET Rakesh Sharma teachers and a large number of students from various government and private institutions were present at the valedictory function.
Over 300 science models from various Government and private schools were on display in the science exhibition on important themes like pollution, conservation of natural resources, rain water harvesting, harmful effects of mobile tower and on several other social and scientific themes.
Government Higher Secondary School for Girls Kathua bagged first position, while second position was clinched by spring Dales Higher Secondary School Kathua. Government High School Chack Kahna secured third position in the Science Exhibition.
