2-days refresher course for wrestling referees, judges inaugurated

KATRA June 7: 2-days refresher course for referees and judges of J&K State in Indian Style Wrestling was inaugurated by its president Shiv Kumar Sharma at Baba Mir Shah  Akhara, Domana today.
While speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the Management Committee of Akhara including Raj Hussain and Shamsher Singh.
He said that the Association will take every possible step in bringing the Akhara at par with the Akharas of Punjab, Harayana, Delhi, UP, Maharashtra and other Akharas of the Country.
International referee and judges and former national coaches Sohan Singh and Raman Kumar from Punjab will act as experts to give the latest information about the amendment in rules and regulations in the Indian Style Wrestling.
The officials attending the refresher course included Mulk Raj Sharma NIS Wrestling Coach, Bansi Lal Tidyal, Rakesh Khajuria, PR Sharma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Mohd Fareed, Raj Hussain, Vijay Singh (Biju), Naresh Kumar, Mohd Akram, Laxhaman Singh, Capt (Retd) Lehar Singh, Deepak Wazir, Rajinder Kumar Ramotra, Manjoor Hussain, Raj Singh, Murli Dhar (Munna), Prem Kumar Verma, Tulinder Kumar, Om Parkash Verma, Capt (Retd) Kapoor Singh, Shamsher Singh,  Balraj Sharma and Subash Singh.
