2 doctors among 5 suspended

RAJOURI, Aug 13: The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Jitender Kumar Singh today suspended two doctors, two other Medical employees and a teacher for being absent from duty.
On the directions of Dy Commissioner, a team of officers led by Additional District Development Commissioner, Vir ji Hangloo and CEO Rajouri Lal Hussain paid surprise visit to several schools and Health Centres in Chingus and Dongi Garati area of Rajouri today. At Health Centre Nagiala Bagla, they found two doctors and two other staff members absent from duty.
They are- Dr Mohd Javed and Dr Jyoti Hari, Pharmacist Mushtaq Hussain and FMPHW Nitu Sharma. During checking in Palma area a Govt Primary School Morha Darra was found locked. A teacher namely Gulshala Begum was placed  there while another one namely Babita Sharma has been attached to some other school by the concerned ZEO.
The DC placed all these teachers and medical staff under suspension and issued show cause notice to ZEO for the attachment of teacher Babita to some other school. The DC asked the team to continue such surprise checking in all the areas in the district including Kotranka, Budhal and Darhal areas.
