SRINAGAR, July 21: Two persons have drowned in separate incidents in North Kashmir, police said. Both the bodies have been fished out.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Gunjal son of Ghulam Mohammad Gunjal of Nagranar, Handwara drowned while bathing in an artificial dam Sarband in Handwara. The body was fished out from the Sarband.
Mustafa Lone son of Abdul Majeed Lone of Shahpora, Churwan Gurez slipped and drowned in the river Kishen Ganga in Gurez. The body was recovered near village Achoora and handed over to his relatives for last rites, the spokesman said.
