Pulwama, Oct 25: Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate, Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today suspended Govt employees for making anti-national speeches while they were leading the funeral prayers of the slain terrorist Ab. Hamid Lone alias Hammad Khan R/o Lelhar, Kakapora who was killed at Rajpora, Awantipora in an encounter with security forces on Oct 22 & 23, 2019.
While one of the employee is a Patwari working presently in Tehsil Office, Pulwama; the other is a Master in Govt Upper Primary School Hajibal, Zone Kakapora.
Both have been attached with the office of Addl DM, Pulwama who has been made the enquiry officer. The district authorities apprised that apart from the departmental action, penal action under the relevant provisions of law shall also be initiated by the Police.
