2 GMC Surgeons attend ‘Masters Course’ at Meril

JAMMU, Apr 11: Two senior faculty members, Dr Bias Dev and Dr Neeraj Mahajan from the Department of Orthopedic department of GMC Jammu were invited to the prestigious 15th Masters Course at world famous Meril Academy Vapi, Gujarat, which concluded on April 9, 2022.
The course was for the Orthopedic Surgeons who are doing joint replacements to share, augment and update to the latest information in the field of joint replacement surgeries. Over 300 delegates from different countries of the world has assembled at Meril Academy, for sharing the experience with others in the field.
The department of Orthopedics, GMC Jammu is regularly doing joint replacement surgeries and invitation to two senior faculty members to the masters course is the recognition of Institution at national and international level despite it being at peripheral place of country having lot many logistic issues.
Dr Bias Dev, Associate Professor and Dr Neeraj Mahajan on return informed that in this course besides many newer concepts, the role of robotics in joint replacement was demonstrated to the delegates and this course was very useful in upgrading the current knowledge about joints replacement.
