2 held for theft, gold ornaments recovered

NOWSHERA, Oct 12: The police claimed to have solved a theft case with the arrest of two youth and recovery of stolen ornaments, cash and a mobile phone in tehsil Nowshera today.
Acting on the basis of a complaint of one Anil Kumar, son of Des Raj, resident of  Nowshera, the police party led by SHO Yash Pal Jamwal started investigation under the supervision of SDPO  Pardeep Singh and picked up some suspects for interrogation. Finally two youth were arrested who confessed to have stolen gold ornaments, a watch, some cash  and mobile phone. The police made recovery worth over Rs 1.70 lakh from the accused.
They have been identified as Javed Hussain alias Palla, son of Aslam Din and Inderjeet alias Kala, son of Mohinder Pal, resident of Nowshera.
