Srinagar, May 4: Two persons were killed, while four others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said that a traffic police constable, Abdul Rashid of Tral who was injured in an accident at Sanat Nagar on April 22, today succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS.
A pedestrian, Syeda Begum of Saderkote Bala was hit and injured by unknown Sumo vehicle at Saderkote Bala in Sumbal area of Bandipora district.
“She was shifted to hospital for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. Police has registered a case in this accident,” the spokesman said.
Two persons were injured after a load carrier turned turtle at Vaikoo, Kunzer in Baramulla.They have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A pedestrian, Rafiqa Bano of Madipora was hit and injured by an unknown vehicle on Madipora Highway in Kupwara.
Abdul Hamid son of Abdul Jamal resident of Qamarwari, Srinagar sustained injuries when the tyre of his Scooter bearing registration number JK01-1012 he was riding burst at Reram in Kunzar.
“The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment,” the spokesman said.
