KATHUA, Oct 20: Two persons including the driver were killed in a road accident when the tractor in which they were travelling rolled down into deep gorge on Bani- Roulka road today.
As per reports a tractor bearing Registration Number Jk08G 6716 on way from Bani towards Roulka met with an accident near Chaloti Dhraman in which two persons including a driver and a teen ager boy were travelling got seriously injured. The duo was shifted to local hospital by the police with help of people but they succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.
The deceased were identified as Shashi Kumar, S/O Dewan Chand R/O Bhala Distt Doda the driver of the tractor and 19 year old Rakesh Kumar, S/O Hari Lal R/O Dhraman, tehsil Bani.
The Bani police shifted the dead bodies to SDH Bani for further legal formalities. The police has also registered a case under relevant sections of the law in this regard and started investigations. The bodies of the duo will be handed over to their family members tomorrow after autopsy by the police.
