DODA, Feb 11: Two persons were killed, while two others were injured, when the Alto car they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Grid Station Bhaderwah.

The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02BC-6057 was on its way to Bhalara from Jai, when the driver lost control over the car and it plunged into 150 feet deep gorge near Grid Station Bhaderwah, resulting into on the spot death of two persons and injuries to two others.
On getting information, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah led by SHO Inspector Muneer Khan rushed to the spot and with the help of locals, rescued the injured persons.
The injured persons identified as Waseem (40), son of Abdul Gani of Dharmpura Bhaderwah and Mohammad Iqbal (48), son of Abdul Mir of Haveli Mohalla Bhaderwah were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The bodies of the deceased identified as Shahid (25), son of Mastana Sheikh of Saraf Mohalla Bhaderwah and Ahsan (27), son of Abdul Qayoom of Dharmpura were shifted to mortuary of SDH Bhaderwah for autopsy.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
