BHADERWAH, Oct 3: Two persons including a forest guard were killed and another got seriously injured, when the alto car they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into the gorge at village Daliana near here this evening.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-5649 was on its way to Bhaderwah from village Manthla, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it landed into gorge, causing serious injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where two of them were declared as brought dead and the third injured person was referred to District Hospital (DH) Doda for advanced treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Angad Kumar (forest guard), son of Parkash Sharma, a resident of village Rainda and Shiv Kumar (private fertilizer supplier), son of Attar Chand of village Milani.
The injured has been identified as Subash Sharma, son of Parkash Sharma of village Rainda.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
