KATHUA, July 26: Two persons were crushed to death under trains near Kalibari and Lakhanpur during early morning today.
A police spokesman said that 30-year-old Vijay Kumar, son of Chhaju Ram, resident of Mah village, was crushed to death under a passenger train this morning. The Railway policemen rushed to the spot and later shifted his body to the mortuary of District Hospital. His family members came to know about the matter and then rushed there. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem.
In yet another incident, one Daso Ram (40), son of Sheru, resident of Chhatisgarh and presently residing at Kathua was crushed to death under Madras Mail (train) near Kalibari early today. The Railway Police men shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of local hospital. The police has taken cognizance of these cases.
