JAMMU, Jan 6: Abid Hussain, Joint Director, School Education (Central) Kashmir and Bharat Singh Manhas, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts) Jammu, have been nominated as Members in the Expert Committee, constituted in terms of Section 33 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
An order in this regard was issued today by the General Administration Department, in terms of earlier Government order number 1078-JK (GAD) of 2020, dated 27-11-2020, read with Order Number 1130-JK (GAD) 2020, dated 17-12-2020.
It may be recalled that under the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir constituted J&K Advisory Board on disability matters and also formed an Expert Committee to identify posts in the establishments, which can be reserved for such category of persons.
