SAMBA, May, 15: Enforcing Corona Curfew imposed in the district by DM Samba to contain the spread of Coronavirus, Samba police today booked two shopkeepers in the territorial jurisdiction of Police Station, Samba for violation of Corona curfew orders.
A Police team of PS Samba headed by SHO, , Inspector, Sudhir Sadotra on specific information booked two shop owners under Section 188 IPC/ 51 Disaster Management Act for violation of curfew restrictions in the district.
A case FIR No 155/2021 U/S 188 IPC, 51 Disaster Management Act has been registered against Sachin Sharma @ Ganu son of Dwarka Nath of Katli Gowal Samba running a Karyana store near Sheelawanti Mandir Katli, Samba.
Another FIR under Number 156/2021 U/S 188 IPC, 51 Disaster Management Act was registered against one Akshay Kumar @ Kuri son of Bishamber Dass of Katli, Samba running a fast food shop at Katli Samba.
Samba police appeals to its citizens to cooperate with district administration, follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and abide by the curfew restrictions imposed in the district.
