UDHAMPUR, Aug 20: With the arrest of two thieves and recovery of stolen items, Police worked out a burglary case registered at Police station Ramnagar.
The said burglary had taken place at the house of one Rano Devi, on the August 11 when some unknown burglars barged in her house and decamped with cash and some jewelery items.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR number 106/2022, under Section 457/380 IPC was registered in P/S Ramnagar and investigation was taken up.
A special team, led by Inspector Pushpinder Singh, SHO PS Ramnagar, under the supervision of Dr Bhishm Dubey, SDPO Ramnagar, rounded up several suspects and finally succeeded in arresting the thieves involved in the said burglary case.
The accused persons were identified as Abdul Karim, son of Mohd Rafiq of Kulwanta Ramnagar and Mohd Fareed, son of Hasan Din of Kah, Udhampur who confessed their involvement in execution of crime. Stolen items viz, one golden Ballu, two silver chains along with cash of Rs 28400/- were recovered from their possession. Further investigation is going on and some more recoveries in other theft cases are expected.
