RAJOURI, Oct 15: Nowshera police seized two vehicles loaded with seven bovine animals and arrested two smugglers and their three associates in this connection last night.
Official sources said that police party from Nowshera intercepted two vehicles loaded with bovines from village Dabar and Bareri and arrested drivers of both the vehicles. The police naka party intercepted vehicle No. JK11D- 3782 driven by Reyaz, son of Barkat Shah hailing from Atti in Rajouri along with his associates namely- Mohd Sakir, son of Mohd Yasin of Atti and Mohd Sahil, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Gurdan Pain, loaded with five (5) cattle during early hours today.
Another vehicle No. JK11B- 8206 driven by Sahil Kumar, son of Kamal Kumar, resident of Bareri along with his associate namely- Sumit Kumar, son of Tilak Raj from Bareri, loaded with two cattle was seized by police. Separate FIRs were registered against the accused persons in this connection by police.
