JAMMU, Nov 2: Draughts-64 State championship was organised by Draughts Association of Jammu and Kashmir at New Brilliant Public School, RS Pura.
The championship was organised to select the players for National Draughts-64 Championship, being organised by Draughts Association of India at DAV School, Parvanoo, Himachal Pradesh from November 15 to 17.
The selection procedure was conducted by renowned instructor Dr Vikas, Technical Member, Draughts Association of India from Jalandhar.
About 20 participants were selected on the basis of their performance and now they will participate in the above said championship.
The trial session was organised under the supervision of Tajinder Singh, Incumbent State Secretary of Draught Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pramod Khajuria, Principal, New Brilliant Public School, wished good luck to the selected players.
