20,000 students will get benefits of Rs 37 crore

JAMMU, Aug 29: Career Point’s National Level Scholarship Test CPSTAR 2013-14 starting from September 7. The brochure was launched in Jammu at Career Point’s Jammu Centre today. Centre Director, B.J.Singh said that CP Star is a platform for deserving students to judge their performance at National Level to earn scholarships and awards for shaping their career at right time.
He added that this test will be held in two different rounds. Students of class 6th to 12th can participate in this scholarship test. He said in total 20,000 students all over India will get benefits of 37 crore of scholarship and cash rewards of 73 lacs. Top ranks in different rounds can get free coaching. Centre Director Sunil Dutt said that this is a golden chance for intelligent, hardworking but financially weak students to get full financial support and achieve the goal under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced faculty team.
He said this paper will be held at 349 centres across India. Students will get detailed performance analysis and feedback by a2z feedback technology with suggestions and improvements. In total there will be two rounds. 1st round will be conducted in 5 phases held on September 7 and 20, October 5 and 19 and November 16. Students can give exam on any of these dates.
He said paper will be divided in two parts SAT & MAT in which there will be multiple choice single correct objectives question. In SAT , for class 6th to 10th there will be questions based on science, maths and social studies. For class 11th & 12th class questions will be based on physics, chemistry & maths or biology. In MAT questions will be based on mental ability.
