JAMMU, July 5: A month-long Summer Camp for listing of Built Heritage of Jammu and Rajouri District, organized by INTACH Jammu Chapter, here today.
Eight interns/students of School of Architecture and Landscape design Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra;CEPT University, Ahmedabad and Hindustan University Chennai participated in the Camp as listeners, who acquired the knowledge of the built heritage of Jammu City and Rajouri District, specially religious, State and public properties.
Ajit Kumar Sahu, Deputy Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest on the concluding function, who distributed certificates among the Interns on the occasion.
Those who interacted with the Interns and shared their view points included SM Sahai, Convener INTACH Jammu Chapter; Vinod Malhotra, former Development Commissioner, Town Planning Organisation J&K; Joginder Singh, Chief Town Planner, Jammu, Kirpal Singh, Incharge, Dogra Art Museum, Jammu; Prof C L Razdan, former Architect and former Director, School of Architecture and Landscape Design, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Architect Sanjay Gupta and Architect Bhawana Sawhney.
