JAMMU, Oct 5: J&K Badminton team comprising of 21 members boys/girls and men/women will represent J&K State in the North Zone Badminton Championship-2018 being held at Udaipur Rajasthan from October 9 to October 12, 2018.
The team will leave for Udaipur on tomorrow.
Sat Pal Sharma, Coach, Veena Singh, Lady Coach and Balbir Singh Jamwal, Manager will accompany with the team.
Today Dr OD Sharma, Vice President, Badminton Association of India and Chairman, J&K Badminton Association.
Ravi Singh, Sports Officer (J), J&K State Sports Council, Ashok Singh, Manager MA Stadium, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex were the members of the Screening Committee.
The Teams: U-19 boys: Aesh Goswami, Puranjay Sharma, Mohit Choudhary, Aryan Nagpal and Nishkarsh Saini.
U-19 girls: Rashmi Kashyap, Poorvi Singh, Anandita Khajuria, Shruti and Niteshi Saini.
Men: Raghav Dogra, Vipul Saini, Akshay Mahajan, Vasu Bhagat and Sunil Bakshi.
Women: Sowy Goswami, Vaishnavi Sharma and Preeti Gupta.
