21 UT players shortlisted for ‘IPL auction’

JAMMU, Dec 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has created history for the first time in the history of Indian Premier League (IPL) as 21 players from the Union Territory have been shortlisted for the upcoming ‘IPL auction-2023’.
Shubham Khajuria, who was J&K’s top run-getter in both Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy, is on Serial No. 32 while Vivrant Sharma, who also impressed this year with his performance, is at Serial No. 41.
Fast bowler Mujtaba Yousuf has been named at Serial No. 59. All-rounder Abid Mushtaq is at Serial No. 114, while Yudhvir Singh stands at 187, followed by Basit Bashir at 212, Rasikh Salam at 214, Waseem Bashir at 216, Avinash Singh at 221, Aman Sharma at 231, Fazil Rashid at 281, Ateev Sainia at 285, Sharukh Dar at 293, Nasir Lone at 316 and Auqib Nabi at 322.
The other players who have succeeded to make their names in the list are Asad Jamil Asad at 346, Ashish Bhat at 348, Goarav Koul at 351, Rajiv Singh at 356, Mohd Wasim and Sampark Gupta at 362.
