22 Govt employees suspended for dereliction of duty in Anantnag

SRINAGAR: As many as 22 Government employees of different departments were suspended for remaining absent unauthorisedly from duty in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.

An official spokesperson here this evening said that the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Mohammad Younis Malik, during a surprise visit to the offices of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), State Forest Corporation and Social Forestry.

During the inspection, 22 employees were found unauthorised absent from their duties, he said, adding they were put under suspension till further inquiry. (AGENCIES)
