SRINAGAR, Dec 7: 22nd State Thang Ta Championship 2015 concluded at Delhi Public School, Pantha Chowk here, today.
The Championship had begun on December 4, 2015
Javaid Ahmad Shah, Secretary J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest on the closing ceremony and he distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion, while Mushtaq Ahmad, Sports Officer Kashmir, J&K State Sports Council was the guest of honour. The Championship was organized by J&K Thang Ta Association and was sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
720 players from three age groups from 10 districts took part in both boys and girls from all over the State.
The champion of champion title went to Arafat Hakeem from Pulwama district in men’s category, while champion of champion girls’ title was bagged by Iqra Hafeez from district Srinagar.
