JAMMU, June 29: Sky High India Social Organisation in association with District Udhampur Chess Association is conducting 25th Chess Championship in the month of July.
The Championship is being organized by District Udhampur Chess Association under the aegis of All J&K Chess Association.
Aman Kalsotra, Patron District Udhampur Chess Association, informed that the Championship will be played in the month of July in sub-junior, junior, senior male, female and open State categories with special category of deaf, dumb, blind and handicapped persons.
For the promotion of this game, the Association introduced two new categories–Gazetted Rank Officers Category and Departmental Category.
The matches will be played on Mix Round Robin, league-cum-knockout basis.
