JAMMU, Aug 29: The 26th District Jammu Taekwondo Championship 2023 concluded at Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha Parade here today.
The chief guest on this occasion was Dr. S.M Bali (Founder Handball In India) along with Subash Shastri ( President NMSC), Ramesh Chandra Sharma (General Secretary, JKTA) and B.S Jamwal ( Retd. Deputy Commissioner).
The 26th District Jammu Taekwondo Championships 2023 was held between 28th to 29th August 2023 organised by Taekwondo Association of District Jammu headed by Anuj Sharma (Secretary TADJ) under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd) Supported by J&K Sports Council and recognised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt of India.
The event was designed for the selection of upcoming 26th J&K UT level Taekwondo championships wherein around 350 players participated from different Clubs and Schools throughout the District.
KV 1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu emerged the winner as he bagged the Winner Up team trophy while 2nd Runner Up Trophy went to Shaurya International School Jammu and 3rd Runner Up Trophy to Sanskriti School Jammu.
