JAMMU, Oct 2: The 28th J&K State Billiards and Snooker Championship 2023 was inaugurated at Billiards hall, MA Stadium, here today.
The championship was inaugurated by Gold Medallist in Billiards from Forest Department, Suhail Khalid. He was accompanied by the Executive Body of the Billiards and Snooker Association of Jammu and Kashmir. The organisers said around 80 players have registered so far in Junior and Sub Junior categories and the number of players is increasing everyday as players from across Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the championship.
The matches in Sub-Junior category will commence from tomorrow at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium Jammu. The tournament shall be played according to BSFI rules and regulations and being organised by the Billiards and Snooker Association Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council.
