JAMMU, Oct 16: Twenty-Eighth State Billiards and Snooker Champion concluded here today at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium. The Championship was organized by The Billiards and Snooker Association J&K under the aegis of J&K Sports Council.
The event was graced by chief guest Madam Rashmi Wazir, IPS.
Members of the association, officials of State Sports Council and all the players were present during the event.
Prize distribution was held and chief guest handed over the certificates and trophies to the players. The finalists as per their category are, the winners of Sub Juniors Snooker is Irham Mirm while the Runner up was Furkan Wani .
In Billiards, the winner was Hardik Gupta and Runner up was Vansh Gupta. In Juniors category, the winners of snooker was Umar ul Islam and Runner up was Irham Mir.
In Billiards winners was Kamran Mahid and Runner up was Umar ul Islam.
In the Seniors category, the winners of Billiards was Abhishek Pathania while runner up was Sohail Khalid.
In Snooker the winner was Mudassir Aashiq while runner up was Younis Kuchey.
During the event the members who were present included Nikhil Kaphai (President), Kuldeep Sharma (Gen. Secy.) Vice-president Kunal Gupta (Jammu) vice-president (Kashmir) Umar Himayu Joint Secretary Zeeshan Ahmed and the entire executive body i.e. Sohail Khalid, Ishuk Choudhary, Rohit Chopra, Gurjeev Singh, Jaideep, Vishal Abrol, Rakesh Gupta, Rahul Kapahi, Ishan Khajuria and Arun Choudhary.
