JAMMU, Oct 30: The 29th Jammu District Billiards & Snooker Championship, organized by the Billiards & Snooker Association J&K under the auspices of the J&K Sports Council, has reached the quarterfinal stage. The championship, held at the Billiards Hall in MA Stadium, Jammu, showcased thrilling pre-quarterfinal matches in the Senior Snooker category here today.
In a series of closely contested games, Ishuk, Vidit, Aman, Sunny, and Vikrant secured their places in the quarterfinals. The pre-quarterfinal matches results were as follows: Ishuk narrowly defeated Aman with a score of 3-2, while Ishan won against Sumit with a convincing 3-1. In another tight match, Vikrant edged out Abhishek, also finishing by 3-2. Sunny rounded out the results by beating Adnan, securing his spot with a score of 3-2.
As the tournament progresses, anticipation builds for the upcoming quarterfinal matches, where players will vie for a chance to advance further in the competition. The championship continues to highlight the growing talent in Billiards and Snooker in Jammu.
