LEH, Oct 31: Ladakh Police organised 2nd edition of Ladakh Police Archery Meet wherein 18 teams of Leh and Kargil as well as three teams of Ladakh Police participated.
The ADGP & Head of Police UT Ladakh, Satish Khandare was the chief guest, whereas Tsewang Dorjay, president of Modern Archery Players Association was the guest of honour.
The winner Skara Red with 1052 points (Stanzin Delex) awarded with cash prize of Rs 20,000, whereas runner-up team Chiktan with 1026 points (Maqbool Ahmad) secured cash prize of Rs 15,000 and 2nd runner-up team with 1005 points (Wanqdus) awarded with cash prize of Rs 10,000, besides Manzoor Hussain (IR25th Bn) and Stanzin Delex (Skara Red) remained highest double bulls eye and highest bull eye respectively.
The chief guest congratulated the participants and promised to organise such sports events on a regular basis. The whole event was conducted by the Security Wing of Ladakh Police.
