2nd Indoor Cricket Tourney begins at KC Sports Club

page14Jammu, Oct 30: 2nd Inter-School Indoor Cricket Tournament sponsored by KC Sports Club commenced this morning inside the spacious indoor Cricket Hall of KC Sports Club, here today.
The inaugural match between KC Public School and KC International School turned out to be an exciting affair.  KC Public School won the match and thereby qualified for the finals.
KC International scored 64 runs, KC Public School scored 62 runs thus won the match.
Rodney Jones, former associate of the Cricket Board of England & Wales as its Coach and Assessor was present on the occasion.
Jones is a distinguished cricketer and a highly qualified coach of cricket. He has been conferred with several awards for his meritorious services and is currently Chairman of Whitchurch Cricket Club and Shropshire Cricket Board Coaches Association, UK. He is on a short visit to Jammu and has a busy schedule of giving intensive training in cricket to the students of KC Public School and the cricketers of Yuvraj Singh Cricket Academy at KC Sports Club.
At the end of the inaugural match, Mr Jones gave away the awards to the winning team and also interacted with the teams.
