JAMMU, Mar 22: 2nd Invitational Prasar Bharati Cricket Cup was inaugurated here Yesterday, in which four semifinalist teams of 9th All India Prasar Bharati Cricket Tournament held earlier in Goa in the month of December 2015, are taking part and vying for the top honours.
The participating teams are from North Zone, Delhi Headquarter, Central Zone and South Zone.
The Tournament was inaugurated by the Additional Director General, Doordarshan, OK Sharma, while OP Kakroo AGM, State Bank of India was the chief guest on the occasion.
On the opening day, the matches were played between Delhi Headquarter and Central Zone and North Zone and South Zone teams, which were won by Delhi Headquarter and North Zone teams respectively.
S K Jindal, Additional Director General, Prasar Bharati was also present on the occasion.
On day-2 today, the matches were played between North Zone and Delhi Headquarter and Central Zone and South Zone which were won by the North Zone and South Zone respectively.
The final of the Tournament will be played on March 25, 2016.
