JAMMU, Oct 27: The 2nd Rajinder Magotra Basketball Tournament culminate at Mini Stadium Parade Ground, where STC Warriors edged out RBC with a score of 101-99. This tournament, organized by the Rajinder Magotra Sports Welfare Club, honours the legacy of the late Rajinder Magotra, who was a strong advocate for sports and youth development.
Yudhvir Sethi, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Jammu East was the chief guest and Ranjit Kalra, member J&K Sports Council, was guest of honour.
In a thrilling final, Jaskirat Singh shone brightly for STC Warriors, scoring an impressive 38 points and earning the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
Sethi praised the organizers Sushil Sagjotra, Varinder Dabgotra, Vaneet Pangotra, Sachin Bhamwra, and Mohan Singh for their efforts in honouring Magotra’s legacy and called for more events to inspire young athletes.
