SRINAGAR, July 27: Three persons, including a lady, attempted suicide in North Kashmir today, police said.
A police spokesman said that in an attempt to end his life, a boy, 16, Imran Ahmad Bhat of Heel Jageer, in district Baramulla, consumed some poisonous substance at his home. Bhat was immediately rushed to the SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, Nasir Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Dilawar of Ijara, consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman added.
In another attempt, a lady of Sogam, Kupwara, consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sogam for treatment, he said.
