3 CRPF men hurt in blast

SRINAGAR, Oct 4:  Three paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured in a grenade explosion in North Kashmir’s Sopore town this evening.
Police said the militants hurled a grenade at Hotel Plaza, housing the camp of CRPF 179 battalion, near Bus Stand Sopore, resulting in injuries to three CRPF men. The injured men were hospitalized.
Police and CRPF cordoned off the area soon after the grenade attack to track the militants responsible for the attack. They also conducted frisking of the passengers and checking of the vehicles in town.
