3-day Cluster Level Meet gets underway

Children performing during 3-day Cluster Meet at KV No.1 Udhampur on Thursday.

UDHAMPUR, Nov 8: To celebrate Children’s Day, 3-days Cluster Level Meet, commenced at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, here today.
The meet is being attended by 201 students and the escort teachers of seven schools namely KV No 1 Udhampur, KV No 2 Udhampur, KV Jindrah, KV Jyotipuram, KV Chenani, KV Bhardarwah, and  KV Kishtwar.
On the inaugural day, Dr R Prasad, Principal, KV No 1 was the chief guest, while Vice Principal, Vikramaditya was the guest of honor who were welcomed by the Headmistress Usha Koul,  Anita Jamwal, Savita Sadhu and Surinder.
Speaking on the occasion, Usha Koul said such meets enable the children to show their talent and infuses team spirit among them.
Dr R Prasad in his said that such competition develops a healthy mind in healthy body and enables the children to come closer and understand each other better.
Group Dance and Rangoli Competition was also held on the occasion.
The sports competition was held in Cone Relay Race and the Sack Race. The participants also took part in the Quiz Competition which was organized by Navjeet Kaur.
The stage was managed by Sudesh Kohli, while Minakshi, the Coordinator presented the vote of thanks.
