3-day Kashmir Wushu Championship concludes

BANDIPORA, Sept 7: 3-day Open Kashmir Wushu Championship, organized by Wushu Association of J&K, concluded at SK Stadium here today.
Over 400 participants drawn from 8 districts of the State took part in the event.
Harvinder Singh, Commandant 3rd Bn CRPF was the chief guest on the closing ceremony, who presented the medals to the winners and assured all sorts of help to the Wushu Association for its endeavours. Mr Ragu and Mrs Masrat, chairperson Child Care Centre Bandipora were the guests of honour
Earlier, president of the Bandipora Wushu Association presented the welcome address.
The overall trophy was lifted by Bandipora by securing 124 points, while Srinagar and Anantnag shared 2nd and 3rd places with 64 and 54 points respectively.
In boys section, best player award was presented to Mohsin of Bandipora and in girls section, Beijit of Srinagar was adjudged best player of the competition.
