SRINAGAR, Oct 4: Three persons were killed and two others injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesperson said that two persons Mehraj-u-Din Layegaroo son of Khazir Mohammad of Barbershah, Srinagar and Mohammad Yousuf Bhat son of Mohammad Abdullah of Zambalgam, Verinag were killed and two others were injured when a Truck bearing registration number JK01 1399 collided with a Tavera bearing registration number JK01A 7571 at Charsoo near Kadalbal, Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident Kulsuma Jan, 20, daughter of Ghulam Hassan Malla of Kondbal Lar fell from an Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK16 0856 near Kondbal, in district Ganderbal. She died on spot. Ganderbal Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Santro car bearing registration number JK04B 8109 on way from Beerwah to Khansahib hit and injured Altaf Ahmad Kasana, 25, son of Abdul Karim and Ghulam Mohammad Paswal son of Mir Mohammad Paswal of Ringzabal, Khansahib at Raiyar, Budgam. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam Police has registered a case in this regard.
