MENDHAR, July 5: The police has arrested a youth for the kidnapping and rape of a minor girl and also held two others helping in the kidnapping of the girl.
The Police party acting on a tip off recovered the girl hailing from Sagra village and arrested the accused, Mohd Aris, son of Shakir Hussain, resident of Sagra, at present Mankote. Action was taken on the complaint of one Sakhi Mohd, who alleged that his minor daughter was kidnapped by Mohd Aris, with the help of his sister Nusrat Bi and another relative Mohd Shakeel, son of Kadeer Hussain.
The police also arrested Mohd Shakeel and Nusrat and registered a case under FIR No. 102/2016 under Section 363, 109, 376 PRC. The girl after medical examination at Mendhar hospital was handed over to the family.
