JAMMU, Apr 30: Three hutments were gutted, while around dozen cattle received injuries in fire at Kothey Khour area, falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib police station.
As per police sources, fire broke out in a hutment at Kothey Khurd, which later engulfed to the two adjoining hutments.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
On getting information, fire fighters along with fire tenders reached the spot and started operation to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts of several hours, the fire was brought under control, but till then three hutments were gutted and around one dozen cattle received severe burn injuries.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Miran Sahib police had taken cognizance in this regard.
