JAMMU: Three people were killed and 32 injured as a mini bus they were travelling in overturned in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A mini bus on way from Nagrota Gurju to Khoon late last night overturned near Challari Ramkot at Dhar Road,” police said here today.
They said rash and negligent driving by the driver caused the accident.
“Three persons died on the spot,” they said, adding 32 people sustained injuries, out of which 14 were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The deceased were identified as Ajay Singh,19, son of Sandoor Singh, resident of Neeli, Majalta, Hoshiar Singh,21, son of Puran Singh, resident of Sail, Majalta and Kuldeep Raj, 31, son of Shaker Dass, resident of Karkai, Majalta.
