RAJOURI, May 29: The police seized three Tata mobile vehicles and rescued 18 bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir valley via Mughal Road during nakka at Chingus near Rajouri early today.
Police sources said that Chingus police party, led by SI Kabir Hussain, during nakka intercepted three Tata Mobile vehicles JK-11/ 8273, JK02AL/1149 and JK02AD/0393 and rescued total 18 bovine animals. All three drivers of the vehicles were also arrested. They were identified as Mohd Raviz, son of Mohd Latief from Khablan ( Rajouri), Muzaffar Iqbal, son of Mohd Razak from Gran Kawa and Onkar Singh, son of Karam Singh, resident of Gran. The police registered cases against them.
