JAMMU: A fresh batch of 3,389 Shri Amarnath pilgrims today left from Yatri Niwas base camp here for the holy cave shrine in South Kashmir.
“Total 3,389 pilgrims left this morning in a cavalcade of 102 vehicles,” an official here said.
He said the yatris comprised 2604 male, 635 females and 150 Sadhus.
Pilgrims left for Pahalgam and Baltal to perform the pilgrimage in 102 vehicles including 76 buses and 26 light motor vehicles.
The Yatra is smoothly heading on Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
