3408 students from Jammu centre appear in ANTHE

JAMMU, Oct 24: A total of 3408 students from Jammu centre of Aakash, appeared in Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) held on October 23.
ANTHE bestows huge scholarships to the meritorious and deserving students nationwide who are aspiring to make their career in Engineering and Medical streams. The examination was aimed at enabling the brightest young students to get to their goal of becoming top professionals, by providing them free coaching.
This is Aakash Institute’s seventh consecutive effort to facilitate the most deserving students to achieve their goal of becoming a Doctor or an Engineer.
This year, over 255000 students from junior classes and senior classes (i.e. classes 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th) have toiled hard and tried their luck for this lifetime opportunity of getting coached by Aakash Institute.
The qualifying students shall be awarded up to 100% scholarship on tuition fee for a two year classroom coaching as per defined eligibility criteria at Aakash Institute/Aakash IIT-JEE/ Aakash Foundations. The total amount of the scholarship is worth Rs 8.64 Crores, along with a cash prize of more than Rs 72 Lacs.
The countrywide talent hunt exam which has been conducted in 720 Centers across 22 States in the country covers all the zones- North, South, East and West with all the major States and union territories of India.
In alphabetical order, the names of states include Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
