36th Divisional Level Science Exhibition concludes

JAMMU, Feb 25: A two days divisional level Jawahar Lal Nehru Science, Mathematics & Environmental Exhibition organized by State Institute of Education Jammu in collaboration with NCERT, New Delhi at Govt (Girls) High School Gandhi Nagar Jammu concluded here today.
Professor Shashi Prabha from NCERT New Delhi was the chief guest on the occasion.
Models on innovative themes were displayed by the students during the exhibition and prizes were given to first three models in different categories.
In Elementary level, 1st prize was bagged by Government Middle School Kothian Reasi, 2nd prize by Government Middle School Lower Kandi Poonch and 3rd Prize was won by Government Middle School Old Janipur, Jammu.
In Secondary Level, Govt High School Bhallar Kathua, Government High School Badyal Qazian R S Pura and Government High School Canal Road Jammu got 1st, 2ndand 3rd prizes respectively.
In Higher Secondary level, Government Higher Secondary School Jaganoo, Govt (Girls) Higher Secondary School Kathua and Government (Girls) Higher Secondary School Reasi bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
Earlier, on the first day of exhibition a seminar on the topic “Indigenous Technology for Inclusive Growth” was organized in which 11 teachers drawn from various districts of Jammu division participated.
H. R Pakhroo, Joint Director (Trgs)/Principal SIE Jammu, J. K. Sudan, Chief Education Officer Jammu, Mohinder Singh, Principal, DIET Jammu and Tarsem Lal Principal DIET Poonch were also present on the occasion.
