38 COVID +ve cases in J&K

India Records 841 New Covid-19 Cases

JAMMU, Apr 28: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 38 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, 19 each from both Jammu as well as Kashmir divisions.
The maximum number of 15 cases were reported from Jammu district, followed by 7 from Kupwara, 2 each from Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Budgam, Kulgam, and Udhampur and Kupwara, and one case each from Doda, Samba, Pulwama and Ganderbal districts.
According to the reports, a total of 2,990 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 325–166 in Jammu division and 159 in Kashmir valley whereas 39 COVID patients recovered today, 29 from Jammu division and 10 from Kashmir region.
The highest number of 108 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 33 in Baramulla, 23 in Srinagar, 21 in Anantnag, 16 each in Pulwama and Doda, 15 each in Kulgam and Udhampur, 14 in Budgam, 11 each in Bandipora and Kulgam, 10 in Kupwara, 8 in Samba, 6 in Ramban, 5 in Shopian, 4 in Kathua and 3 each in Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi districts.
