JAMMU, Oct 1: Association of Taekwondo of J&K is organizing 38thOpen National Taekwondo Championship and 24th Poomsae National Championship at M.A Stadium, here from October 2 to October 4, 2018 under the banner of Taekwondo Federation of India (Lucknow).
This was informed by Grand Master Jimmy R. Jagtiania, Founder & Father of Taekwondo in India and Organizing Secretary, Gourav Arora while addressing media persons here today.
“A total of 1500 participants from all over the India from the various 27 states are participating in this event. The States include UP, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal, Chandigarh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Pondicherry, Gujarat, AP, WB, TN etc.
The players will have to vie for the top honours among a big number of medals including 71 Gold, 71 Silver and 142 Bronze medals.
Avinash Roy Khanna will inaugurate the function, which will be presided over by Jimmy R Jagtiani.
