SRINAGAR, Apr 29:
Seventeen fresh guests from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) were among 39 people who cross sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post, in Uri sector in north Kashmir this afternoon.
Official sources said here today that 17 PoK residents, including two women and three children, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge on foot this afternoon.
They said eleven Kashmiris, who had gone to PoK, also returned to their homes after completing stay with their relatives, separated in 1947.
Sources said four Kashmiris crossed to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives. They included a woman, they added.
Seven PoK residents, who had come here in previous Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PoK, also returned to their homes after completing stay here. (UNI)
